hello again,

sheepish response to the dvb-t, it works now tthat i put the antenna on the correct socket, i also have a nebula card in this box but not using bda drivers .... ahem.

still not sure about dvb-s though that does not seem to be working. I will of course try again

Post the DVB-S logs and I'll take a look, but it probably relates to your LNB/diseqc settings.

which log file will have that info in? does anyone (in the uk) know the correct settings for a satelite pointing at the sky/free sat satelites? I am currently setting to astra 1e, 1f, 1g, 1h, 1kr, 2c and leaving the other bits at 9750, 11700, 10600, powered and diseqc none.

I have no idea what your lnb settings should be, but if you post your config.exe.log/config.exe-native.log I can at least check if it manages to lock onto a signal.

humm now this is very strange, i am now scanning satelite channels !!!

does gbpvr see both tuners (2 sat and 2 dvb's) as one tuner for each platform?

Its still scanning now, first time it crasshed, but its got further thiis time, fingers crossed i will see bbc HD !!

ok ive got somewhere, no BBC HD or alot of channels listed really, I guess thats some of the settings ive put in (or rather not put in).

More alarminly is tthat watching sat channels for a minute and pvrx2 crashed with the window opping up asking me if i want to send a report to microsoft.

A reboot is needed before i can view again.:confused:

damn, thats a nice card. I want one! but getting one to this side of the world isnt easy, most of the UK places that hold them wont ship

Have youtried ebay? I just had a look (at least on the uk site) and there are some listed, price seems reasonable too (similar to what I paid 6 months ago from scan.co.uk). As far as I could see they will ship internationaly, no idea on post though?

That sounds similar to my setup, but the quad LNB is being used to feed 1 cable downstairs and 1 up.

I did not notice astra 2a, 2b, 2c, on the list so this would probably explain my entire problem ! I will try it tonight when I get home and see what happens !
