Yes, the Sat ini files say which transponder - frequency, polarisation etc etc - to use for scanning. By coincidence some, many or none (toss coin) may be found....

Have youtried ebay? I just had a look (at least on the uk site) and there are some listed, price seems reasonable too (similar to what I paid 6 months ago from scan.co.uk). As far as I could see they will ship internationaly, no idea on post though?

yeah, noone on ebay seems to offer shipping either (to NZ, at least), all within the UK. GL with your problem at any rate

not having much luck here, did a rescan using the sugested sat setting (it was astra 2D not 2c in the list does that matter?) it finds loads of channels but when I try and watch on i either get no signal being received or a black screen.

Its definately not listing all the available channels though, i do not see any BBC channels for example.

Just looking at a patch available in another forum area, could this fix my issue?

BBCHD at least youve proven its possible , its the only thing worth trying to get, everything else that is worth watching is on freeview atm:confused:

Just noticed your in the same area as me, I live in north lincs, work in Hull

For me it's another tuner "just in case" I run out of freeview ones. It s annoying that some things like "Dave" are free on freeview, but need a card for satellite. Plus some stuff on BBC HD is well worth watching.

this is weird .... trying to re-create the problem by scanning again but im not seeing any channels at all again !!
