Those with digital scan issues

Like I had with my HVR2250, Sub posted a fix for an issue in which the scanning differed between the initial scan (when there was no scan cache file) and doing a rescan. On a lark, and since I have been beating my head against the wall anyway, I decided to use this version of config.exe, and wow - found all kinds of clear QAM channels, including the elusive 86.3 (ABC-HD) that it could never find! Here's a link to the update, if you're willing, try it and report back here for Sub to see if this indeeds fixes those issues.

Delete the scan cache file and do an initial scan. I think that's what helped me, seems it was getting confued with the old cache file present.

Thanks Mike....to be sure, what is the name of the file to delete? Sorry, I'm not at the computer with GBPVR installed.

Can't remember, but it is in the BDA folder - something like scan.cache.dat or something.
