after reinstall can i watch shows i recorded

I completly uninstalled GBPVR then reinstalled. I used the same folder for recording shows too. But since I reinstalled GBPVR it doesnt see any of the shows i had recorded from before.

Is there a way i can make the new install of GBPVR see the shows that i had recorded from before the reinstall. There in a folder called TVshows on the C drive.

Windows XP pro shows recorded are just mpg file type

You needed to export the database of recorded shows first. All you can do now is set up your recording folder under the Videos folder selection, and pick them from there.
