This will depend how NMT is getting its data, HTTP will be native over IP, however i would think a share might be different, i dont know how the NMT works, i was told its the same as the MVP which is purley reliant on the PVR server (server gets data, squirts it to MVP) however the NMT is way more intelligent.
If it tries to connect to drive "S" does it even know how to get there? does it have WIndows networking protocols?
I would hope its MVP system only but then your error seems maybe its not???
Many Thanks
Ashley

I have a security system that places jpg's in a folder that is available as a public share on my network. I map the drive to s: and use a local entry of s:\Gate.jpg to view the image using webcams2. This works fine on pvrx2 on my server, but won't display on my NMT's (it says "unable to connect") . I can access other webcams that use http://... on my NMT without a problem, although they dont refresh unless I return to the menu and then go back in to webcams.
Can anyone suggest where I might look for the problem/solution. I hesitate to post this to the GBPVR/NMT threads because I know Martin is snowed under.
Thanks in advance for any help
Martyn.
