config settings

Guys,
I've been browsing the config file and there are a couple of settings -

<!-- EPG settings -->
<DvbEpgHarvestDuration>60</DvbEpgHarvestDuration>

<WeatherPlugin>
<AutoUpdateRate>90</AutoUpdateRate>

Can someone tell me what do these do?
I'm just curious if these could be giving me my video glitch every once in a while?
Could there be anything else I can look at?
Otherwise I'm going to have to assume its my local provider.

This is the update rate for the Weather plugin... I doubt this would give you a video glitch, unless you have a very underpowered machine where a network request would kill your CPU

Is this secs?
My network is wireless, sometimes it is a little slow,
just grasping at straws.
I have no other problems with GB except a video glitch every couple of minutes or so.
I have no problems with glitching on any other software but GB.,
so I have to suspect its from within.
I really want to keep using this software, it has a great WAF.

This is used when updating the digital EPG. I'm not sure if it's even relevant for you in the states.

The weather update could cause glitches. It has for some users in the past. Try temporarily removing the weather dll from the plugins directory to see if your glitch goes away.

<DvbEpgHarvestDuration>60</DvbEpgHarvestDuration> is not all the time. Its only during the EPG update and only when you're using the 'DVB EPG' option as your EPG source.
