Well, one more issue then I think I got it from here...

In previuos posts I had some permission problems, I think I fixed them by turning user control off in Windows.

I don't know if this is related, however when GBPVR eather starts a a recording for the sched. or I start the recording on the channel I am watching I am kicked out of the TV and back to the GBPVR main screen. If I try and go back to "watch Live TV" the screen flashes and I am returned to the main screen...

Did I miss somthing in setup?? I checked the Doc's at Wikki and can't find anything.

Thank you all for your help, this is one of the best support forums I have seen!

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

here are the pxv2 logs. If you need others please let me know. The example run is at the end of the log.

Again, thanks much for all your help.

I see you're starting the app with the -direct "Live TV" command line parameters. If you start it normally, so you see the menu, then try to start live tv from the menu, does it then work?

Can you post those logs? Also include the GBPVRRecordingSerivce.exe.log and GBPVRRecordingSerivce.exe-native.log

OK, I figured it out.... Seems BGPVR does not like network drives. I have 2 TB on a network storage device. I can see it from GBPVR, howver if you look from the web interface it can not. I put a 1 TB drive into the machine with GBPVR and it worked. Not sure why though. The network drive is shared out as a drive letter on the machine, and the machine has all the rights to the drive....

This will work fine for me on this machine as it is the one that goes in the big truck (Over the road semi) I'll work on the house box later Smile Thanks much for all your help!!
