1 set top box - 2 tuners

I currently have one Satelite set top box feeding my HDPVR. Half of the channels I recieve are HD and the rest are SD. I plan on adding a PVR150 to the computer to record the SD channels. I have separated the channels between the two tuners by creating two schedule direct channel line-ups.

Is there a way to tie these two tuners together such that when one is recording the second one will show as unavailable and thus not interupt the recording of the other?

If not I'll just have to be careful with my scheduling.

doesn't the HDPVR have any analog inputs? like svideo in?
or doesn't the sd come out of your box on same component output as hd?
why not record both with hdpvr? [is it possible?]

I have a MVP on the kids TV downstairs and I would like to record there shows in SD mpeg2. HDPVR only records in H264.
