No video??

I finally got everything setup and working.
older pc, winxp, happauge 1600, etc..
I installed GBPVR, got mc2xml working for my listings..
But now when i go a channel.. i get no picture. Sound.. but no pic.
I go to movies, turn on a movie.. sme thing.. no picture with sound.

any help????

It probably means you dont have an MPEG2 video decoder installed.

I have elecard installed.. also have k-lite codec pack.
is there somewhere i need to select which decoder to use?

You select the MPEG2 video decoder on the playback tab of the config app.

nothing.. i tryed mpeg decoder, and i tryed ffdshow filter.

when i click the tunning application.. it goes through all the channels. fine.. picture nd sound. but when i open gbpvr it gives me only sound no picture.

Also sub, the top and bottom of the menu screens are blurred out.. that may have something to do with it? Maybe something i have is not working right?

Win xp
512 mb sd ram
p3 2.0+ gig proc i think..
64mb vid card.

Any help? or ideas of what to try?

I have given up on it for the night. So frustrating.. i thought i had everything.. then something simple like the video doesnt work ..
. pulled the tuner out and stuff and put it back in my main pc..
Ill try again tomorrow.
Hopefully we can figure it out. :confused:

hmm.. i have been trying to think if i forgot to install something..
would the directx make that happen? I dont know which direct x i have?

I can watch movies in wmp fine.. but then in gbpvr i get sound but no pic... i dont know..... just trying to think.

what video card? may not be vmr9 compatible..
also, with ffdshow i get no live tv if the codec for mpeg2 is libavcodec,i have to use libmpeg2.
[tho yours sounds more like lack of vmr9 support]
