Black Screen w Audio on remote

got it all working on p4 dual core with ati theater 650 and geforce 8400 works great on local machine but when i try to connect to it from another computer, depending on my settings i get audio and a black screen or just a black screen without audio. i can open the file in the share and play it with out any problems with media player any help would be appreciated

you need to select a video decoder other than default on playback tab in config
you may need to download a mpeg audio decoder
if it plays in windows media player then it should play in gbpvr as it uses the same direct show filters other player like media plater classic and vlc have built in decoders that cant be used in gbpvr

i tried ever combination of codecs i had available i will try to download some other any other suggestions?

what codecs have you tried ?

cyberlink nvidia ffshow all should work

i used ati codecs from my tv tuner card to get video playback to work. recorded tv looks great but live tv is really choppy audio and video
