First of all: Nice piece of software!

Now for my problem:
I use the pvr250. When I select the Live TV option, all it does is write a small buffer file of app. 4 MB. I just get to stare at the menu while it's doing it. No errors whatsoever and when it is done writing the file I can contiue using the program...  [Image: rock.gif] but no tv.....

I can use the Tuning Assistant without any problems btw.
I must be doing something wrong, but what? I've tried the 'overlay manager' and 'vmr7' options on the playback tab. No result, although using 'overlay manager' results in a larger buffer file (I didn't wait to see how large it would get)
Also switching on the sbe setting on the miscellaneous tab didn't help (in that case no buffer file is written. [Image: smile.gif]  )

Maybe someone can help me?

Disable SBE first, then try again. Send the log files generated (in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr) to me at support@devnz.com

Just wondering if there is any update to this thread. I am suffering from the same problem. have had no problems with gbpvr until now when i had to do a re-install of the box and used the latest version of it.

simple, same advice for you. Disable SBE first, then try again. Send the log files generated (in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr) to me at support@devnz.com

I have the same problem - most amazing it worked for days with no problem but suddenly I get an error when starting Live TV.

Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library:

Disabling SBE helps! Live TV working again.
As soon I try to enable SBE same error occurs.

I can't seem to register. No matter what name and Pswd I register under, it can't find me.

ANYWAY - I can't get live tv to work. Get the message "Failure Playing Back File"

Have a PVR 150 (works fine), downloaded latest gbpvr .227. Have tried every possible combo of playback filters. Have deselected SBE in Misc. menu.

That section of log looks normal for the PVR150 with the current public release. There no errors listed there that should stop it working. The next release will not have these warnings that are shown above.

Does a livetv-x-x.mpg file get created in your live tv recordings directory? It is growing?

zip and email all your log files to me at support@devnz.com.
