Hello,

This weekend I tried to record two shows but all it did was make the folders but not actually record the shows, at least no files were in the folders. I have attached the logs.

The shows were:

channel 6, 8pm-9pm EST (Jan 16th)
channel 10, 8pm-9pm EST (Jan 17th)

Can you let me know whats wrong?

Thanks!!

Does the problem still happen after a reboot? If so, then please also attach the matching GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log that was missing. Also run filtercheck.exe and attach the filtercheck.log.

If it was just a one-off problem, then I wont waste anytime looking into it.

Hey Sub,

I rebooted and my Sunday show recorded ok.. my question is, how can I avoid this in the future? Missing any shows is not good.. so how can I be proactive to not allow this to happen again?

Thanks,
Curt

PS. Whats a on-off problem?

A ONE-off problem. i.e. the problem has happened only once.

You could try and reproduce the problem by scheduling some more tv shows and then uploading the log files.

In the logs it looked like one of the device components had shit itself. I dont really have any advice for avoiding it next time other than maybe trying other versions of the drivers and hoping the new version doesnt have the problem. If its only occurred once though, it'd be hard to know if you've solved the problem or not though.
