You'll have to supply a 200MB full transport stream recording of this problem frequency (T:10714,H,22000,56), so that I can run it up here in the debugger. If you cant get it mapped in GB-PVR to do this, then you'll have to record it in some other app (for example, DVBStreamExplorer)

Make sure you leave those two checkboxes unticked from now on.

I'm not convinced it's anything to do with that particular frequency stream as it does the same whatever the first frequency is. I created a custom 0282.ini file with just a few of the frequencies in and it seems to crash just the same whichever ones I choose.

I'll happily capture the 200mb stream and upload it, but can you give me a brief guide to the procedure so I dont send you 200meg of hogwash. I've installed dvbstreamexplorer, but there are an awful lot of options.

Unfortunately there is nothing else to go on. From past experience, crashes during the channel scan (with the 'ignore PMT CRC error...' options disabled) are caused by some data in the stream that the application doesnt like. Of course I cant be sure until I get your stream file though.

Is there any more info about these crashes in the Windows Event Viewer?

Sorry, I've never used it myself. I know others have used it though to capture transport stream files.

If you can't get streamexplorer to work, install dvbdream and (after fairly easy setup and scan (you only have to scan one transponder if you want)) you can capture full ts streams for a transponder. The utility is under modules.

Here is the full ts recording

OK Sub, I've taken my best shot at it, you can download it here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=46GF2A9I

Thanks again for taking the time to look at this.
