We have been using an older version 1.12.93? (sorry overwrote file and not sure) wiht few issues.

Followed upgrade this mornign on a whim, installed OK. Then went into PVR, live TV comes up, shows 5 seconds of audio + video then comes up saying no signal detected.

All recordings seem OK and playback + EPG is up to date and has pending files. (Also settings work - this didn;t used to on older version)

Rebooting machine a couple of times - still only 5 seconds of live TV.

Tried runnign PVR repair from msi and this failed

Uninstalled and reinstalled PVR, now no LIVE TV at all - everythinig else looks OK.

In config when I go to MAP EPG channels config crashes. It showns my channels. Logs are attahced.

I wish to roll back to my previous version: Can you tell me where to find it as I rebuilt machine and used your online version in December to build application.

HVR4000 Win XP SP3

I have updated before with no problems. Can you advise?

Thanks in advance, really appreciate your help, even though It's just great weather today!

Set you logging level back to 'debug' then reproduce the problem and repost the logs and I'll take a look.

OK,got some logs I hope!

Had to uninstall 3.07 (that behaves simlarly) and install 3.11. No issues with install

Still got same issues: config comes up after install go to channels - see all my satellite listed. IN map channels to EPG see preview picture + audio for about 5 secs, then get windows crash message and see picture freeze in background. App then closes.

Open PVR and go to live TV see picture and audio for 5 to 10 seconds then it locks up and get message no signal detected. Can't exit this and have to force reboot of machine so don't know if your log sees this.

Hope I got the right log. Really appreciate you looking at this. Mike

Sorry - I should have mentioned you'd need to enable log flushing as well. These logs are incomplete so dont contain the info I need.

OK flushed log, opened config set to flush then closed, reopened wnet o channels, went to map channels to EPG, then crashes with Windows message ' do you want to send to MS etc'.
Not tried live TV let me know if you require that - I susepect it will behave as before.

To be honest, I'm not really sure.

I can see one problem but I'm not sure if it'll fix the crash you're seeing. Try selecting a video decoder other than 'MPEG Video Decoder'. This decoder is failing to hook up, so it falls back to using 'CyberLink Video/SP Decoder (PCM45)', leaving the 'MPEG Video Decoder' in the Graph aswell but unconnected (ie two video decoders).

I'll give it a go. I see others have similar problems with no signal detected and crashing config.
Is it possible to download my old version? can you provide a link it was the veriosn from November/december 2.94? or thereabouts.
I'll keep you informed.
Thanks M

eventually found my previous release 1.2.13 on your wiki and loaded this (also had to reload .net as I got an error coming up on PVR start up)

All seems back to normal, live TV works and config doesn't crash. So i'll sit tight with this old release and it's little quirks. May try a new version next time.Smile

Thanks for your help. M

Yep, looked that and saw nothing relevant to my hardware / situation for 1.3.11. Please do let me know if you think otherwise; I'd love to use the latest version. Also kept windows up to date as well. Thanks for the post
