After upgrading to 1.3.11, I can't start the config or the program. Both crash with.

Are you on Vista? Try starting the config app with 'Run As Administrator' to see if helps. Its supposed to prompted for administrator privelleges automatically, but that error makes me think it isnt for some reason.

It looks like your file permissions might be different from a normal XP install then. Maybe try resetting the permissions on the gbpvr directory to allow all users full access.

Yep that fixed it.

Looks like that file was ticked as read-only for some reason.

I un-ticked that and away it went.

Thanks,

I have changed properties to allow all users, run config as administrator but still config crashes during epg update.

pvrx2 is working on live tv but no program guide details available.

I'm pretty sure your problem will be unrelated to the discussion above.

Do you have any of the options ticked in Config -> Capture Source -> Digital Recording Plugin settings -> Advanced BDA Settings?

First three items are checked but not "Parse Dishnetwork ---"

Freeview dbt so I assume this is not relevant.

Uncheck them, then try again.
