Big Red X with 945G integrated video

Never been able to get GBPVR running on my wife's HP a1530n (945G chipset with intel integrated video). This machine will be a client.

Since I've gotten GBPVR running on other machines (all of which have either nvidia or ATI cards), I'm thinking that there are issues with the Intel integrated video. (I saw one other thread mentioning the "big red x", but it was of no help.)

Whenever I run PVRX2 (or GBPVR in previous revs), a big red X appears on screen with the following unhandled exception details:

You say you are running it as a client. Is your GBPVR server running when you start GBPVR up on the client? If not, you'd get the 'big red x'

Youve specified your database share as "\\HTPC\Devnz". The app will be trying to access \\HTPC\Devnz\gbpvr.db3 and \\HTPC\Devnz\config.xml. Do these files exist at that location, or have you shared the incorrect directory on your server? The name makes me you've shared the "c:\program files\devnz" directory, not "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr".

thanks, sub....missed the obvious. strange how i seem to have entered the path incorrectly only on this machine but not the others. my wife thanks you.
