I note that the "'s are not present in the mvp .ts transcode line... witness:

Code:
<AutoConvertTSCommand>-y -i "{SOURCE_FILE}" -vcodec copy -acodec copy -f dvd "{DEST_FILE}"</AutoConvertTSCommand>
...
  <MVPFFmpegTranscodeTS>-y -i "{SOURCE_FILE}" -vcodec copy -acodec copy {DEST_FILE}</MVPFFmpegTranscodeTS>

The "'s don't appear around {DEST_FILE} in any of the other convert/transcode commands. I suspect we have a config bug here.

I've tried transcoding .ts to mpeg once or twice myself, and it's never done anything for me either, but I've never done any troubleshooting. Hence why I jumped into this thread...

I've never tried it, but it looks like .ts is the way to go and the new .ts multi-record feature looks good, so that's why I'm here...Wink

I had noticed the MVPFFmpegTranscodeTS didn't have the "'s around {DEST_FILE}, but it's the only MVPFFmpegTranscode string without them, so I figured going with the majority (old age thing)Big Grin

Whichever way, it'll be nice to get to get it sorted out.

yeah, you're right, the other MVP transcode lines do have the "'s, I hadn't noticed that. OTOH all the command lines under <CustomFFmpegConversions> don't have them.

I suspect it's a case where they used to be needed, and then something changed so they aren't needed now, but the config lines are only getting fixed as they come to sub's attention.

I'll remove the extra quotes in the master file for next release.

I can confirm that removing the quotes from around {DEST_FILE} fixes the problem.

Thanks guys!
