To update the XML EPG, I have to run 'UpdateEPG.bat' and then open PVRX2, select 'System", and click on "Update EPG' there. This is not a problem, but I thought 'Update EPG' in PVRX2 was supposed to update the XML file, and then import it.

Am I missing something?

PVRX2.exe will run yout UpdateEPG.bat file automatically when you click 'Update EPG' in the System screen. If it doesnt seem to be running for you, then you most likely have it in the wrong directory, or it is running it but you have some logic problems that are stopping it doing what you intended (for example, incorrectly assuming the current working directory)

"c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr". It should be noted that this may not be the current working directory when running though, so you might need to explicitly change to the directory you expect it to be, or run executables with full command path.

I had all the EPG files in their own directory, and had the full path name in the .bat file. I could update the XML file by running the .bat file. That updated the XML file, but GBPVR didn't know where that batch file was. I removed the path in the .bat file, and moved everything over to the GBPVR root file - and now it works like it should.

Thanks
