Hauppauge HVR-1600 setting up 2 tunners cards

I have two Hauppauge HVR-1600 want to use them to do recordings at once
OTA high Def GB-PVR have set up both cards using digital plugin set up epg on both everything seems OK but i can record one show does not see second digital 1600 card I set both cards to device one i`m a newbie at this any feed back would be appreciated done seaches in wiki and forums dont understand what to do to have it tell that theres two of same model tv cards installed

Do you have 2 separate HVR 1600 ie 4 tuners or just 1

The HVR 1600 is a dual tuner with only 1 digital and 1 analog, they can not be changed.

So if you set it up as a dual digital tuner it would not work as one of the tuners can only be used for analog NTSC ie analog cable.

In order to have 2 digital tuners you would need a separate second digital tuner installed

Can you describe briefly how each card is set up. Ie did you set the card as device one or is one set to device one and the other set to device 2

Have 2 digital tuneres installed 2 HVR-1600 Cards each has one anolog and1 digital per card

How are they set up,

When setting your capture source up under the digital reording plugin option did you set them to device 1 and then device 2 for the second one

i set first card too device 1 then Ive tried 1-8 in device on second card to no avail both recording source both using digital recording plug in epg both set up with schedules direct channel changer no channel changer required can see 24 sd high def channels a map digital to each card no problem just have not find why it not seeing 2 separate cards
