HDHomerun channel scan

I reinstalled my test box since things were going slow and programs begin to crash......started fresh. After adding to the bda file all the hdhomerun info and using the QAM tool/center freq. to scan, I got a number of channels but upon reviewing them to map, I see or hear nothing on all of them (probably close to 150 or more). On this same system with same drivers etc. last time I had no trouble but I think I must have missed something when I reinstalled things......can anyone tell me what that might be?

Not sure if this will help but I always had to exit out of the map digital channels area immediately after the scan without mapping them. I would then go back in and then map the channels. For some reason on all my systems I got the same black screen with no sound right after the scan in the preview window but exiting out and then going right back in, video and sound would be restored on the preview window and then I could map the channels.

Probably a decoder issue (either missing or merit related). Did you install AC3Filter or another AC3 capable decoder?

Also, double check your firewall.

Before I even installed GBPVR I installed the nVideo pure video codecs I've always used plus the latest (1.5 something I think) AC3. I thought it was a codec issue too but what else do I need?
I should say this is in Windows 7 which until I had other problems not related to video and had to format and reinstal, worked just fine.
Firewall was set to allow PVRX2 but not config which I did set to let in. I'll try turning that off completely just in case but I would think I would notice a problem before scanning.

Came home, booted up, went right to the mapping screen and I'm able to view channels now. Why do all the freaky things happen to me?

Now when I record, I get zero file sizes. Logs attached.

Do you have GBPVRRecordingService.exe in your firewall exceptions?

I'm at work and can't be sure but from best recollection, I don't think I do. I'll definitely check that tonite. I hope that is the problem.
