I was looking for instructions about getting GBPVR to use the Cable company's set top box. I have HIP set up, and set to send IR to the box. I have a Hauppauge IR Blaster.

Couldn't find out where the instructions were.

You mean you can sucessfully blast a command to the STB using HIP?

If so, it's just a matter of setting up your PVR150 to use whatever input you are connecting your STB with (composite, svideo, or rf coax)

Set up the epg etc, and enable channels which are on your STB and add the correct channel numbers for your STB to those channels.

Then you tell GBPVR what channel changer you are using (probably hipsend I think and the channel parameters)

Then you

BTW: this may be why you couldn't find instructions on the wiki:
Quote: Link to Setup Analog card (rewrite pending)
Link to Setup Digital card (rewrite pending)
Link to Setting up your Capture Card(rewrite and consolidation pending)

EDIT: Found it, http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manual/SetupSTB

Does the IR blaster plug directly into the card, or does it plug into an MCE remote receiver? If it plugs directly into the card, I don't think you can use HIP with it.
