About half of our channels (Oklahoma City, USA) went ahead with the transition to digital TV yesterday. Because of this, I had to rescan my channels and remap them to the EPG (some channels changed frequencies to use the old analog frequencies that are no longer being used for analog). I have been using 3 digital tuners (Hauppauge 1600 and 1250, and a Kworld PCI 120 ATSC tuner).
When I rescan any of the tuners, it correctly finds all current stations, but when I begin mapping to the EPG channels, I have 3 or 4 copies of each channel name. It appears some versions of these channels are old as they will not correctly tune. It is difficult to sort through this long list and try to figure out which channels are the current channels and which are the old channels that no longer work.
The list under "channels found during scan" is correct. Is there a way to purge all old information (short of deleting and reinstalling my tuners...I'd rather not risk losing my programed shows) so that only these newly found channels from the current scan are listed in the drop-down boxes in the "Tuning Request" column?
