Hi,

I'm having a few problems getting a crash free scan of the Astra 1s (19E) and the Hotbirds (13E). Would someone be prepared to post recent scans of these Sats??

Would be much appreciated!!

Sorry, I don't point there anymore since I got rid of the big steerable dish when analogue went bye-bye.

Thanks both.

It probably is something to do with that issue, but that PSIParser patch makes things much worse- I've tried it on both my GBPVR machines- I can't quite remember what the problems were (probably totally broken scanning + general instability), but it had to come off within 30secs on both!!

By the way, can I just report that the Compro Videomate 350 now scans properly, identifying all channels (rather than marking them as "unknown"). I would use my spare Compro, but need DiSEQC for my monobloc. I also have hardware acel in HD at last, but I think that was Cyberlink's fault.

That is excellent news - I have to admit that I haven't done a scan since the upgrade though.

I hadn't even noticed that the channel mapping had improved either. I have also noticed that the broadcast EPG for the main German channels (19E) can be picked up (didn't seem to work before), which saves a bit of pratting around with XMLTV.

These two things must have saved several days of my life for actually watching TV!
