AverMedia M791

Hello All: Has anyone resolved the issue of GBPVR working with the AverMedia M791 tuner. Tried a couple of things to no avail.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I dont have one of these devices, but whats going wrong?

thanks for the quick reply.
When trying to set up a recording source, the M791 was not recognized and I received a message something like drives not installed, continue anyway. I saw a previous post and that's why I added the lines to the ini files as stated earlier in this post. With these lines, it added the card but still can't access any channels. This card work currently with MCE.

While things arent working for you, you're probably best to start with either analog or digital, rather than both.

If with those sections added to direct.ini/bda.ini you're still getting a warnings about the selected device not being detected (when setting up the recording source), then those sections you've added most likely dont match the drivers you're using.

If those sections got you past that, where exactly are you getting to? Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Can you run filtercheck.exe from the gbpvr directory, then attach the filtercheck.log?

The digital section looks correct, and is more likely to be usable than the analog section.

when using the digital ini file, I click on live TV and get next screen saying no tuner found. I applied your section to the direct.ini file for the analog changes and the config took, but when I click on live TV nothing happens.
