I'm keeping all my recordings on an external USB drive which works great but causes an issue occasionally. I think my USB card is flaky which causes the drive to go offline. When it does XRecord deletes all my "Ready" recordings but they still show up in the videos section. Can a prompt be added to confirm automatic deletion? Either that or a GUI to re-enter the recordings. Awesome app, coming to the point of relying on it Big Grin

I wish I could help but xrecord does not delete them gbpvr does.

If you go into config you can tell xrecord to merge the ready/video lists.

But you will still not have your information unless you hit stop and hit export all.
I might make an export all app to run every night.

What does the export all do, dump the database? If so then I assume I can reimport to get the info back? I'm probably jinxing myself but GBPVR and the plugins are getting pretty rock solid. I'm beginning to treat my system as an appliance, it just works Big Grin

export dumps a shows information title, subtitle, description, channel, date and time info to a file. You do not have to import it xrecord reads it if it is in the same directory as the mpeg and shows it in the list. Handling the case where it is in the database as well.

Jorm,

Cool, that should solve my "problem". An export all that runs every night would be useful. I also like changes you made to the videos section which is where the deleted from ready are ending up, nice and organized. Changing topics, any chance in allowing an * on thumbnail lookup? M*A*S*H errors on the first DL and does nothing but return on the second DL (TV Tome?). No real biggie...

I agree an export every night would be useful. And on my list of things to do. You can do an export all via the stop menu. I will take a look at the *. I just upgraded to the latest version and realized that the avi playing via mvp does not like the api I am calling. If I can figure out the new api I will do a minor update with those 2 changes.
