One more quick question . . .

I have a PVR-500 and a HVR-1600 installed.

Right now I have two programs recording. The recording service says one is recording on tuner 1 of the PVR-500 and the other is on the analog of the HVR-1600. When I try LiveTV from the client it says there aren't any tuners available and gives me three options - to not watch tv or to watch one of the two that are recording. And if I choose to watch one of them it works fine.

Do you have two capture sources set up, one as device #1, the other as device #2.

Yep, they are set up and I can record three analog sources at once with no problems.

I found the problem though. For some reason the recording service thingie on my client seems to lag a bit reporting what's on what with the tuners.

My son's lap top doesn't have that issue though.

Anyway, we had two shows recording and another being viewed on livetv, so all three tuners were taken up.
