Is it possible to 'book' a show from the guide/etc so that gbpvr switches to that channel when it starts? If not, any chance it can be added?

I realize its possible to just record the show, but by default it doesn't seem to play the show while its recording - just drops back to the main menu.

Yes I can watch while recording, but by default it drops from the current viewing show back to the main menu when the recording starts - which then means I have to change to the recording to watch it. Its not a big deal - but I don't need the show recorded, I'd just like to watch it if I'm home and its on. Smile

Even a little popup in the corner saying 'your show is starting in x mins' and a button to change to it would work

Smile Nice answer (no sarcasm intended)

I already have 2 PVR150s connected to 2 sky STBs and a Nova-S for Freeview - watching the programs isn't the problem, i just forget they are on and then people tell me whats happened before I've seen it Smile

I think there used to be this feature, but I'm not sure if it was ported across to the new (current) interface. It would turn the future program blue when it was remembered.

If marking a future show blue by pressing the play button actually makes it turn on when the time comes, that might actually make that feature useful. Otherwise I've found no reason to use it.

real-life usage example: the baseball game starts at 7:00pm... you don't want to record it, you just want it to turn on at 7:00pm. So you 'book' it with the play button, and then put something on for the kids or a news show, whatever, and go about your other business... 7:00pm rolls around, and it automatically puts the game on. You don't miss the first inning just because you weren't watching the clock.
