Anyone want to take a stab at figuring out why my screen went black when I hit pause on a HD channel?
This was with a fresh install of the latest version GBPVR. I left everything in config at it's default setting except I changed video renderer to EVR, set full screen mode, and set up my tuners/EPG. All codecs are set at system default.
Here is the long version if anyone is interested:
After installing and configuring I fired up PVRX2 and did a little SD channel surfing including pausing, rewinding, fast forwarding. It all worked fine and looked good. The only problem was it felt a little sluggish; like a couple second delay with a black screen after hitting pause. Then I changed to a HD channel, and the whole picture on the screen looked like it was shaking up and down a few mm very quickly. hmmm. When I hit pause on the HD channel I got a blank screen/no sound. I waited for a few min w/o pushing any more buttons before I started hitting stop, exit, and play on the remote to try and get something back on the screen. Eventually I got the TV guide to show up again. From there I exited PVRX2. Hey, no crash!! Cool!!
I'd really like to get this program to work (I was unsuccessful last time I tried). Beyond TV works great so I'm sure my hardware is up to par. Any ideas?
