Just bought a SD290EKB dvd player for use in my bedroom on an old crt tv.
It has a usb 2.0 slot & is advertised to play Divx, mp3 & jpeg media.
I was most impressed when it played xvid & mpeg files on a usb stick that were recorded via GB-PVR. It can even open folders containing these files.
This is a very cheap player (£40.00 approx) & quite good quality. There is no HDMI slot though.
I was thinking about building a client pc for my bedroom but this little beauty has changed my mind
