I set PVRX2 to record "Being Human Unearthed" which ran from 0110-0210 and it failed to do anything more than create and empty folder because the clocks in the UK all went forward at 1am which then became 2am so PVRX2 thought the programme which was an hour long had already ended. When I looked at the TV Guide I found that on every channel at around this time at the end of every programme there was a blank box saying "(no show details)" for the length of the programme before it ie. 0210-0310 which is where the programme should have been. The EPG on my set top box did not suffer from this problem so it must be the way PVRX2 stores programme times which is to blame.
Isn't there some way of storing the EPG information using UTC which isn't affected by changes in British Summer Time so that when Windows changes the time on the computer clock at 1am to BST the time of the recording isn't affected since it is stored as UTC which can be deduced from the Windows clock by knowing when BST starts and ends.
