Black Screen But I can here audio

I installed GBPVR I have a Hauppage PVR 250. IT work fine the first two times I ran it and then it stoped working all I get now is audio on livetv but no video black screen only I have tried reintslling GBPVR but no luck IF I run WinTv That came with the card it works fine I have tried all the overlays canged and they do nothing. I have attached my logs if they will help

One more thing this started happening when I changed to a different remote driver but I changed it back and that did not make a difference

That was needed here. Without it, black video only and OSD text appeared poor (dim) in either VMR select, though was clear in overlay select. Audio stuttery. From looking again, the OSD is still dim in time-shift mode using VMR9/7. So overlay it is (I need overlay in BeyondTV; the other mode doesn't show at all). Anyway, in time-shift mode, it works. I haven't recorded yet, just live.

This has a Sapphire Theatrix (I'm using the ATI Wonder Elite setting, though the 550 above it sounds like a better choice by the name?), and a Matrox G550.

BTW, I'd have liked to have seen this note about disabling the live preview mode in the the Getting Started Guide; I was about to toss it and go back to my 14-days-left-on-trial BeyondTV (which works well). I looked at SageTV but Java and me are on different wavelengths.

I hear the tincan rattling but need to see what's beyond that last hurdle, in case "beggars can't be choosy" comes to mind first.

Why would I want VMR9 or VMR7 instead of overlay, I wonder.

OK, the dim text was simply the transparency. While watching Rats (dark background), I didn't recognize the transparency. So, VMR9 works fine (w2k/as). Benefit being the transparency, I suppose, since I can't see any other difference. Case closed for that.
