So if I load it up....HDMI should work as it does today.....if I switch over to component I will then get the new goodies....correct?

That is the theory. This will the only version going forward, and the code is full of conditions, but I might have missed a few. You should wait to turn on PCH2 in config.xml though, the experience on HDMI is better in the old mode.

Ok...I have something recording now...be done in about 15 or so and I will load it up without updating the config and see how it goes on HDMI for a few days to see if any bugs crop up.

I got the new mvpmcx2 loaded and the two gbpvr files....I can get into gbpvr but when I go to play I just get a black screen....pressing stop returns me to the gbpvr screen but the interface is then locked.

Tried changing the startup to not use shares either and it still locked.

Reverted back to old files and am working again.

I can only assume it is something to do with the HDMI output?

I will need step-by-steps on how to debug since I am not really familiar with the PCH native operating environment and commands (sorry).

For those of you using this version I updated the client. There is an apparent problem in GBPVR going directly from an analog tuner to a digital tuner in LiveTV which causes the previous version to hang because data stops streaming.

With this version the video will show momentarily but there will be about a 10 second blank screen before GBPVR sends a screen update. The log is attached for sub.

Sounds like great work, Martin and sub. Only problem, I can't see anything!!

My setup using HDMI has been going great and I start from the USB drive in the PCH. But I have not done something right when trying to change to component with the new files.

Copied the two GBPVR files. Copied the new mvpmcx2 file to c:\mvpmc share and also to the PCH100's USB drive. I also made the mvp client PCH2 in config.xml. My PCH was HDMI so in setup I changed video mode to Component 720P 50Hz.

But when I start GBPVR all I get is a blank black screen. This is true whether I start from the c:\mvpmc share or the USB.

Don't seem to be any errors in the logs which is not surprising.

Hi Lindsay, could you try 720p 60 if you can? 1080i would give better OSD if you can do it

Now set to 1080i 60Hz and it is now displaying. Great.
