DVB EPG or XMLTV

I have DVB EPG Broadcast working fine. I'm wondering if there is any advantage in using an grabber like XMLTV. Does this give you any additional EPG information?

Also I see some stuff on the forums about using tools to further enhance the XML information through post processing. Can these be used with DVB EPG?

Sometimes the xmltv has better descriptions, but other than that its about the same.

Those tools only work with xmltv, and typically only in the US/Canada where more information is available.
