You'll need to set your logging level back to 'debug' then reproduce the problem and repost the logs.

I have changed the video renderer to EVR. I once was able to watch one channel, but was not able to change the channel. I played with the channel changers and I am now stuck with an untuned screen.
I have tried Haupblast.exe but it crashes when I start LiveTV. Not sure if the current problem is due to channel tuning or if I am stuck with an untuned channel with no possibility to change channel... Attached are the logs, not sure if they could help. Thanks. [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

The first thing I'd try is setting your audio renderer back to 'system default'. Its currently set to some Realtek option.
Your change changer should be set to 'none' unless you're trying to control an external set top box.

I made the changes you recommended. I have used mc2xml to create the XMLTV file, but no channel seem to be tuned when I start Live TV. I change channels directly on the computer but nothing changes. Logs attached:

One other thing that looks strange in your logs is that the ffdshow video decoder fails to hook up, resulting in a second video decoder being added to the playback graph. This may be causing problems:

I have changed the decoder to cyberlink, but still the same issue.
Is there a way I can check the info in the xmltv file is correct? When I turn on liveTV, it is like I would be watching a TV out of tune. Thanks [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

You changed something else in those logs. Set the deinterlacing setting back to the default 'encoder pass through'.
If that doesnt help, I suspect you need to try a decoder other than the Cyberlink or ffdshow decoders.

I have set the deinterlacing setting back to the default 'encoder pass through', then tried all the decoder my system proposes (InterVideo, ffdshow, MPEG Vide Decoder, Cyberlink) and always the same result, an untuned screen when I launch LiveTV. Any reason to believe it is coming from the decoder?
Thanks.

Quote:an untuned screen when I launch LiveTVWhat do you mean by 'untuned screen'? If you mean you're seeing snow (http://www.myspacetotal.com/images/layou.../52857.jpg), then it sounds like you have the incorrect channel numbers in your capture source.
That is exactly what I meant: snow.
I have used mc2xml to create the XMLTV file, is there a way I can check the file? The channel numbers I get when importing the XMLTV file are completely different than the ones I get with the GBPVR tuning tool. However, when I use the tuning tool, I get two numbers for each channel: channel # and frequency. Should I modify the Capture source by hand and modify the channel number with one of those two numbers? |
