I had timeline problem w/ GBPVR recordings from my HDPVR that Martin suggested may be driver related. I thought about stepping up to the latest HDPVR driver, but it appears that it records in M2TS format.

Would this mess everything up?
GBPVR v1.4.7
Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.33 GHz
4 GB RAM, 160GB system drive
640GB recording drive
PVR-500 - analog cable stations
HDHomeRun - ASTC via antenna
nVidia GeForce 8600GT
1 PCH @ 1080p componenent (was NTSC via composite)
1 PCH @ 1080p HDMI (was component)

Certainly until a fix from sub http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...light=m2ts it will be a problem because of the extension. More than anything else you need to define what m2ts means to Hauppauge. The PCH support m2ts but I am not going to try and play them with the native player I will pass them one to mono since they usually will be BluRay or AVCHD quality and they might have a 192 byte packet size but I don't want to try and figure this out.

What do you mean "define what m2ts means to Hauppauge?"

Here's the page on the new driver: http://hauppauge.com/site/support/support_hdpvr.html

From the driver page:

Quote:Note: This version includes a record format which can be immediately played back on a Sony Playstation3. This is the .M2TS format.

Basically I am not going to try and support the 4 byte timecode in m2ts or m2ts files in general. If Hauppauge are just .m2t maybe. They still should play with mono

I think it is an option to record in m2ts. I am using the 1.5.6 beta which says the same thing and it still records as a .ts by default.
