Force a channel scan?

I am trying to setup this for the first time. I have a KWorld ATSC 120 tuner (OTA HD, but no QAM) connected to my local Comast cable basic service.

As I was setting it up, I accidentally set it up for "Digital Recording Plug In" instead of "Analog Recording Plug In" and it failed. Seeing my error, I have properly (I think) set it up for Analog Recording Plug in by deleting my recording source and creating a new one and downloaded the EPG from SchedulesDirect. However, it hasn't done a Channel Scan again and I have no idea how to get it to do it.

So, when I go to Watch Live TV, nothing works.

The turner is working fine with my ArcSoft software and the Tuning Assistant. Please help!

Only the digital side of that device will be usable in GB-PVR, so you should be using the 'digital recording plugin', then hitting 'map digital channels to epg channels' to do the scan. The analog side lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder so isnt compatible with GB-PVR.

Thanks...I cannot get it to work with Windows Media Center, either. The app that comes with the card doesn't work for scheduling recordings out of the program guide, so this card is useless for anything but live TV or recording by entering time and date manually.

What a piece of junk. I would suggest anyone reading this thread avoid the KWorld ATSC 120.
