Hi,
I'm currently a MythTV user but trying to switch to GBPVR, but can't get my analog cable channels (2-65) to tune in. When I switch channels, it shows up very fuzzy for a split second and then I get snow and lines, except for Channels 14 and 17 which are very fuzzy but recognizable.
All the channels (2-65)show up perfectly when I use the Hauppauge WinTV app.
Config and Steps
----------------
1) Celeron D, Hauppauge PVR150 Card
2) Downloaded drivers: hauppauge_cd_3.4d1
- Ran HcwDriverInstall.exe to install drivers. After this install, GBPVR didn't pick up any stations from the Hauppauge Card, so figured it needed more Hauppauge drivers/apps loaded
- Ran setup.exe from the hauppauge_cd_3.4d1 directory and it installed WinTV and other apps. GBPVR then was able to momentarily tune into some stations, so at least it was recognizing the hauppauge card properly.
3) All the EPG and channels got loaded properly and stations using schedulesdirect account
Tried:
1) Changing settings between Cable and Antenna
2) Tried the TuningAssistant and got same results
3) Tried reinstall
4) Tried Re-register Filters
5) Tried FreqCopy
6) Experimented with WinTV and GBPVR running and noticed that if GBPVR tunes to the same WinTV station, it actually kills the WinTV reception, which made me think that something is pulling the signal away from GBPVR but can't seem to find a process that would be doing that.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
