Hi All, im wondering if anyone knows if the OEM 7130AM WDM TV TUNER/VIDEO CAPTURE CARD is compatible with GBPVR? If not, can someone recommend a card for use in Australia?
Thanks

Sorry, that card is not compatrible with GB-PVR. It lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder.

I'm not sure which cards are readily available in Australia, but I usually recommend Hauppauge cards, so devices like the Hauppauge HVR-2200, HVR-1300 etc.

Yes. Its an analog only card though, so wont pick up your Australian digital channels - that might not be an issue for you though.

That's a digital card ... and it works with GBPVR.

Do you want analog or digital?

Hi Thanks for your reply. Can I plug it into the aerial and then get digital? Is that like a digital set top box?

The Nova-T 500 has two DVB-T digital tuners. If your aerial works with a DVB-T set-top box, it should be fine with a Nova-t 500.
