No czech characters in EPG

Hello,

I am from czech republic, gb-pvr work good but my first problem is about czech characters in EPG and program names.... Where to change the code page for EPG or any other idea how to solve this problem?
I don't find any thread about my problem in this forum....

2nd problem is why not see picture in gb-pvr when HDTV channels are setup...(I only hear sound track from channel, but no picture)
It's DVB-T HD programs in MPEG-4 (of course, my USB dongle are HD ready and HD programs work good on my ArcSoft software)....

...mam problem s programem gb-pvr. Vse jak se zda celkem slape (krom HD programu na mem DVB-T USB donglu). U HD programu (jak se zda v experimentalnim MPEG-4 formatu) slysim jen zvukovou stopu, obrazovka cerna....
Vic me ale trapi necitelne EPG u vsech programu... Vypada ze to chce nekde nastavit kodovou stranku nebo tak neco...nevite nekdo co s tim?

If you were using the DVB EPG, then you might need to try xmltv instead. I definitely hadnt tested with czech streams, so I probably dont have decoding of characters working correctly for that part of the work.

Which H.264 decoder do you have selected in the config app?

Any tip for workaround ? (do not want to use xmltv.xml).

I dont think there is any workaround. I'd need to fix it, but I'm not going to have time for a while - sorry.

I created small utility that autodownload xmltv.xml to your local disk.

Czech:
Pokud xmltv.exe spustíte, stáhne xmltv.xml do adresáře GBPVR/XMLTV.
Napsal jsem tuhle utilitku z důvodu, že mi poměrně často padá net, a pokud nebyl net dostupny, byl tv průvodce po automatické noční aktualizaci prázdný = selhaly naplánované záznamy, atd.

K dispozici je cca 40 českých a slovenských stanic a program na 7 dní.
Ve verzi 1.01 je možno změnit www zdroj xmltv souboru.

Ideální je dát xmltv.exe do "po spuštění" - dobré je zkombinovat z MCE standby tool, který HTPC restartuje automaticky ve zvoleném cyklu.
Po každém spuštění HTPC se xmltv.exe spustí a stáhne novou verzi na disk. Pokud není připojení k dispozici, zůstane na disku staršÃ­ verze. Stejně tak pokud máte na disku stejnou verzi jako je na netu, nic se nestáhne.

Ke spuštění je zapotřebí do adresáře windows\system32 nakopírovat soubor wget.exe (http://hobring.esero.net/saf/wget-x86-xp.zip)

If you want any logs/samples/etc, give me known.

Now i have DVB-t source and xmltv solution gives me hard times - none of xmltv providers correct time in summer/winter time "jump", so now all my TV guide is 1h later :/

I created a PostUdateEPG.bat for Czech EPG Broadcast. It use sqlite3.exe for dump PROGRAMME table from gbpvr.db3, encoding from ISO6937 to ASCII and then read the table back to gbpvr.db3. It works good, but direct Czech support will be better.
