Extend recording time

If you're recording a program and that program is extended is there a way to extend the recording time as well. I was recording a basketball game that went into over time and wanted to continue recording but couldn't figure out how except to wait till the recording finished and started a new one.

Not as far as I know.

I would just schedule the next show to record using the OSD EPG whilst the current show is in progress.

From memory, yes you can. You need to go into the recordings screen and update the recording.

I can confirm this works - I use it fairly regularly. Although I have a very dim recollection that it may not work if you do it during post padding (but this may have been a few versions ago).
