carpe,

Hope you can help me. I have just installed the new cinema plugin and now when I start PVRX2 I get a message saying that it can't find the GraphRecorder.XmlSerializers.dll. I looked at my most recent backup and do not see this dll anywhere.

There is no graphRecords.Xmlserializers.dll - You might try loading the latest dll's and putting them in the graphRecorder dir and the plugin directory.

CV,

I had reinstalled the graphrecorder plugin last night without success. This morning I rebooted and reinstalled again and, would you believe it, the problem went away. As long as it works now I am happy!

Just wanted to post saying that I was having issues similar to those described by JimmyA (starting on page 23 of this thread). I could watch LiveTV once but if I exited and tried to go back, LiveTV wouldn't work. I also could not record shows after watching LiveTV unless I restarted the GBPVR recording service. I was using the GraphRecorder 1.9/2.0 download currently available on the wiki.

I found the series of posts in response to JimmyA and managed to fix my issues too. Part of the problem is that the GraphRecorder.dll in the download on the wiki is out of date compared to the GraphRecorder.dll available in carpevideo's post here.

Here is what I did:
1) downloaded the newer dlls from carpevideo's post
2) copied the dlls to the following directories:
- \Program Files\devnz\GBPVR
- \Program Files\devnz\GBPVR\Plugins\
- \Program Files\devnz\GBPVR\Plugins\GraphRecorder
- \Program Files\devnz\GBPVR\Plugin\Common

(I had to create the \Plugin\Common folder - yes singular "Plugin")

Now I can watch LiveTV multiple times and record after watching LiveTV. Thanks carpevideo and JimmyA!

carpevideo - you might want to update the zip in the wiki with the newer dll.

Try the latest graphRecorder (2.1) from the wiki - I think I have managed to merge all the changes, one of which includes a fix (well really just an error trap) for mixers on win 7

I have a bit of a unique situation.. the MMS links from my IPTV subscription are dynamic, so I have a little C# app that grabs the updated MMS URL and creates an appropriate graph and saves it...

so I was hoping to use this app as the channel changer inside GraphRecorder so that it can update the graph, which GraphRecorder can then load and use.

but it seems GraphRecorder loads the timeshift graph *before* the channel changer is run.. is there a way to make it load the graph after the channel changer has finished?

since I need a fresh graph upon each channel change, I think that's the functionality that would be needed, right?

The channel change executable and start-recording executables are both run before the graph is loaded and run. The channel change executable may be run again after the graph is loaded if the filesize does not grow. So in this situation it makes sense to run your app in the start recording executable
