can't map digital channels

I'm using Hauppauge HVR-1600. When I tried to mapp the digital channels to EPG channels at "capture sources" tab, I got this error message: "The microsoft MPEG-2 Demultiplexer does not seem to be available on your machine. don't ignore this error, BDA support will not work with out it." When I ran MuxChecker, I did see this message:

"GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine:

Found: ATI MPEG Multiplexer
FILE: C:\Program Files\Common Files\ATI Technologies\Multimedia\atidvcr.dll
VERSION: 9.15.0.20713"

What am I doing wrong?

It sounds like you've installed some software on your machine which has deregistered or removed the (normally present) Microsoft MPEG-2 Demultiplexer.

You could try running "regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\mpg2splt.ax"
