How do I show plug-ins on the skin?

I must be missing something. I have loaded several skins but i am not able to see all the buttons on the main screen for the features the authors report. For instance, the shutdown plugin is activated in my cofig but I can't find the button on the main menu of the skin.

I can't play DVD's because I can't launch it in GB-PVR

this happens if the skin does not support the current version of your plugin.

I have this problem with shutdown plugin (version 2.2) and BlueMCE2 skin (only supports version 2.1 yet). no shutdown button on main page.

As a workaround you can copy the folder of the default Blue skin into your favorite skin folder until the skin is updated. (in my case from ...\skin\Blue\ShutDown to ...\skin\BlueMCE2\ShutDown)
Now you can see the button. Selecting it shows the default blue skin for this plugin.

If anyone else has problems with this, I had problems with the same thing in the Blue skin.

The problem was solved when I used the config application and changed the value in: Shutdown | Settings | Warning Threshold. Initially it looked like the value was set to 30 minutes, but by changing this it appeared among the items in the menu:confused:
