Hi.
I have one .TS recording here and i cannot make it working under GB-PVR 1.3.11 (no plugins installed).
I didnt think it is codec problem, becouse i can play orher TS (h.264) without an problem (using my SAF pack).

Acordings to LOG, it look like GB-PVR failed to obtain correct information from TS:

Code:

It looks like a Full TS recording with many program streams rather than a standard TS recording and since there is no info in the first stream it isn't viewable.

Well, according to my logic on the NMT (mvpmcx2 doesn't support this yet either, but the NMT does)

Code:
transport_stream_id : 2050
  version_number      : 4
    | program_number @ [NIT|PMT]_PID
    |              0 @ 0x10 (16)
    |           6903 @ 0x100 (256)
    |           6904 @ 0x101 (257)
    |           6940 @ 0x102 (258)
    |           6945 @ 0x103 (259)

So that mean there are 4 program in one stream? Isn't the file small for 4 programs?

That's what it looks like (the one you want seems to be program 258) I'm pretty sure if your remuxed this file with tsremux you'd be able to create a viewable file and the file size wouldn't change too much.

Regarding size the total for the whole transport stream can't change, it is fixed by DVB, ATSC or QAM, but the number of programs varies by the content. People that use multi-record I'm sure have seen 4 or more channels (programs) in one stream. On QAM the cable companies here in North America can use compression and they are able to squeeze three 20Mbs program streams in 40Mbs so I am sure similar techniques are possible elsewhere.

It also doesn't have to be a program in the sense of television program either so they can contain any type of data that can be streamed.

Bump the thread next week (when I'm back in NZ) and I'll download the file and take a look.

Was it recorded by GB-PVR, or from somewhere else? If recorded in GB-PVR, was the mux set to 'TS Mux'?

This is one of few ts sample i have to test with SAF. Honestly no idea where it was recorded, but i think it was MediaPortal. It is only not working one.
