Hi, newbie question - is there any reason you wouldn't just use the DVB EPG ?

For me - it didn't work, although that is using a usb tuner with a tiny whip arial with my laptop, not sure if it's picking up an EPG, but nothing showed up

I am getting epg from dvb for most channels - the two i am missing i think may be related to signal stregth.

I guess my post should have been "is there any reason not to use epg from dvb if you are able to receive it ?"
