GB-PVR v1.3.11. Logs attached.

Nothing. No sound, no picture.

It used to work, but only for a while. Then the sound would get out of sync with the picture. It would get worse and worse until the picture got choppy, at which point I would exit. I suppose I've changed some settings since then, but couldn't tell you what exactly. I've tried lots of different things.

Any help would be most appreciated.

There doesn't seem to be a signal on that channel:

Code:
2009-07-25 19:03:27.437    VERBOSE    locked=0    present=0     strength=26000     quality=0

It's possible that they have moved during the digital transition. I recommend rescanning.

Thank you, whurlston. A rescan turned up only one channel. Seems that someone (that would be me) unplugged the antenna booster. Doh!

Now I'm back to the original problem. I'll post new logs and more details later, hopefully Sunday morning.

Ok, I've fixed the no live TV problem. I'm back to the problem I've been having for some time.

Logs are attached.

I started Live TV about 10:25. It worked fine for about 10 minutes, then the audio started to get choppy. After a couple minutes of that, no audio. The video continued to be smooth for a couple minutes, then it got choppy. I exited after a few minutes of that.

Don't know if it's helpful or not, but I don't see any file in the Live TV Buffer directory, before, during, or after running Live TV.

ETA: Unless I pause for a few seconds then play. But then I have audio problems. The audio is a low gravelly sound. Video seems smooth, though.

This is normal. You only get files in timeshift mode (not live preview mode).

Maybe try other combinations of audio/video decoders.

How do I tell which decoder/filter/renderer is actually being used?

(Just to be clear, I know how to change the Playback settings, but if I select "system default", for example, which decoder gets used?)

You can look in the pvrx2.exe-natie.log to see a list of the filters/decoders chosen on your system.

Sorry for the sporadic postings, I've been busy.

I'm afraid I've gone backwards a bit. I installed Windows 7 x64, reinstalled gbpvr, and now scan does not find any channels.

I can watch live TV in WinTV and in Windows Media Center. But gbpvr doesn't find any channels.

Logs attached. Thanks for help.
