I am able to open the config program and I want to install my tuner M779 PCIe DVB-tuner card from avermedia. It is not in the list. How must it be added. There is so much info in the manual but not really sure what to do. I only have analog cable here so I need to set up de card only for that.
Anyone knows how to do that?

Read this for info on adding an unsupported card. Make sure it has a hardware MPEG2 encoder chip on it.

I was able to run installatio. But it went wrong on the line. De log is much bigger now. I will add it maybe u can see what is wrong now....

Interesting, The MSI Log is clean, it appears you successfully installed GBPVR.

if you create a capture source and change the source to digital and press settings , I see your card in the list ... It appears to be your card ....

I guess it is installed properly but I had to make an extra user account on my PC with a password acces.
Now I am struggeling to get my tuner card selected. It is not in the list but I have to do something with Graphedit (see earlier replies). But since I am not such a programmer it is all very difficult to get it going. There is so much info which makes it very confusing for me. For me it is not very straight forward and it's all like a black box.
I have a M770 PCIe DVB-T tuner card and I only want to use it for analogue cable tv. I don't have digital tv.

I had a quick search, I don't think this card has a hardware mpeg-encoder on board so I don't think it will work.
Maybe you could get it to work with a soft-encoding plugin.:confused:
The DVB-T part of the card might work better/easier.

Hello;

If I choose digital de M779 card is recognized but since I dont have digital tv no channels visible in the list.
The analogue cable channel are with WMC present so I guess the card is ok.
Where and how do I get a soft plugin working?
