Ok telnet to your PCH and issue the commands

find /mnt

If you don't see you all your files the mount failed so try and issue it again to see if there are errors

mount -t cifs //192.168.2.150/Videos /mnt/\\\\Whserver\\Videos -o username=guest

find /mnt does not find my Video files just PCH stuff, when I issue the mount command it returns to the shell prompt with no errors.
I run find /mnt again with the same results as previously.

If you issue ls -lt /mnt is one of the lines

/ # ls -lt /mnt/
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 0 Aug 10 16:17 \\Whserver\Videos

Yes now I have the \\Whserver\Videos line in ls -lt /mnt

I made some important changes to the script, I didn't do a directory test properly, Go back to the original and message and hopefully things will be better.

I have changed the script and now when I do a ls -lt /mnt I get the \\Whserver\videos as the last line. If I do a find /mnt I get /mnt/\\Whserver\videos
I have re-booted the PCH and still get the PCH screen and return to GBPVR when I click on the .dvd file.
I have also just as an experiment changed the GBPVR service from local to the account I log onto the WHS with, same result.
Is the username I put into the script ie guest case sensitive because the Guest user on the WHS is spelt Guest? does it matter?

Guest is typically a bogus account, any often any userid will do. This should like you have a permissions issue and you have to enable both the Guest account and give it Read permission to the Videos folder. If that is a problem just add another account with password and add that.
