Hi
The weather plugin i am using uses MSN, it still works, however it needs to support the whole planet or its pointless really... That sais MSN coverage of USA and Canada are basic (most of it on the screen for the images), mine still works though.... scb147 Wrote:I am working on a Weather2 plugin, which gets its data from Accu weather. I have most of it complete, I'm just figuring out how I want the screens to look and how to control them.
Have you looked at the google weather area, it has moon phases as well as major local airports (to your location) and they do the whole planet), looks like an API type system, i found it with google.com then search weather and look at the igoogle page.

Accuweather has moon phases with moon rise moon set times. Would be kinda handy when planning a hot tub with a gal pal... I live in the city where there are city lights all around ;-)

ive just looked at weather.com, this looks really good, has flash for each country and location like a weather report..... not sure if that helps..

UPDATE: the weather.com site uses the same location codes as the current weather plugin i am using now.... this might be the easiest to convert to?

Yahoo have an RSS based weather API. Not sure about global coverage though - didn't look to deep.
