Slow channel changing

Hi,

I've just set up GB-PVR and am incredibly impressed at how easy it was to get going. many, many thanks for making this great software available  

Just one question... when I change channels (in live TV) within GB-PVR, it's incredibly slow, up to about 10 seconds!

I'm using the Hauppage PVR-350, changing channels using that software is almost immediate (1-2 sec's max).

Can I change anything to speed it up?

3/ To stay compatible with MVP/XCard/PVR350/VMR/Overlay I need to code to the lowest common denominator - this means writing an MPEG2 file to disk for all video. WinTV does not have these same constraints so does things in different ways.
